Crafting Your Application Materials for On Campus Roles
Ready to land your next on-campus opportunity? Join us for an interactive workshop designed to help you put your best foot forward when applying for roles right here on campus — whether that's a Student Ambassador position, a Teaching Assistant role, or any other on-campus opportunity in between.
In this session, you'll learn how to tailor your resume and cover letter specifically for on-campus employers, highlight relevant coursework, campus involvement, and transferable skills, navigate the unique expectations of on-campus hiring managers, and present yourself as a strong, well-rounded candidate — even with limited prior work experience.
Whether you're applying for your first on-campus job or looking to move into a leadership role, this workshop will give you the tools and confidence to create application materials that stand out.
Who should attend: All students interested in on-campus employment and anyone looking to strengthen their job application skills.
What to bring: A draft of your current resume (if you have one) — we'll have time for personalized feedback!
