​Mark Garnier OBE MP to Brief Asia House on Opposition Economic and Business Policy

​Mark Garnier OBE MP, the UK Shadow Economic Secretary (Treasury) and Shadow Minister (Business, Innovation, Science and Trade), will brief Asia House members in an off-the-record discussion on Tuesday, 10 November.

​A former trade minister in the Theresa May Government, Mr Garnier will outline what a Conservative government’s economic and trade policy may look like. He will discuss inward investment and the balance between economic growth and economic security, as well as the implications of the ongoing conflict in the Middle East.

​The briefing will be chaired by Michael Lawrence OBE, Asia House Chief Executive.
