About the Session

‎Behind every successful community are people who feel seen, heard and valued. In this session, we will explore why putting people first is the foundation of effective community management. Beyond engagement metrics and platform tools, thriving communities are built on trust, empathy, meaningful relationships and genuine human connection. ‎

By the end of this session, you will have a clearer understanding of how to put your members at the center of every decision and build communities that people genuinely want to be part of.

About the Speaker

Olive Anthony is a Community Manager who believes that people will always be at the heart of every great community. She is passionate about creating spaces where people feel seen, heard, valued, and connected - whether online or in person.

Over the years, she has built and nurtured communities across entrepreneurship, education, entertainment and customer-focused organizations, leading engagement initiatives, managing member experiences and creating opportunities for meaningful connection.

Olive is particularly interested in the power of community to inspire growth, foster belonging and create lasting impact. When she's not building communities, she's dreaming up new ways to bring people together, tell meaningful stories, and create spaces where people can show up as their most authentic selves.
