About Event

Shared Table Dinners—where we meet around food and questions. Everyone brings something to the potluck: a dish, a thought, a feeling, a view—and that’s already plenty.

We carry our roots in our food, our language, our stories, and the ways we gather. But what happens when our roots stretch across cultures, geographies, and identities? Where do we belong then?

At this Shared Table Dinner, we’ll explore what “home” means — not just as a place, but as a feeling. What grounds us? What have we inherited? And what have we made our own along the way?

To make the evening even more special, bring a dish that represents home to you — something from your culture, your childhood, or a flavor that makes you feel rooted. Together, we’ll share stories and tastes from the many places we come from and belong to.

🍎 How It Works

We ask that you bring something small and easy to share to keep it simple, tasty, and low-waste. You could bring a spread, a salad, raw veggies for a platter, a leftover that’s still delicious, or something sweet 🍫. Homemade or store-bought, all welcome.

This is an alcohol-free, vegetarian dinner — we’ll have tea and water to share.

Come by yourself, with a friend, or someone you only recently met!

Pay What You Can 🌟

We want this dinner to be accessible, so we’ve set a sliding scale you can choose from:

  • 7 € → keeps it affordable for all

  • 10 € → helps us cover basic costs

  • 15 € → supports the work the facilitator(s), and sustains the space for future gatherings

Pay what feels right for you—and know that every contribution makes these Shared Tables possible for the community!

Thank you for supporting us, your hosts—C*SPACE, a purpose-driven creative hub housed in a former furniture factory in Weißensee, cultivating curiosity, community, and regenerative ideas through events, co-working, and cultural programs, and The Oneliness Project, led by Monika Jiang, a writer, facilitator, and community builder, explores the transformation from loneliness to connection, weaving our shared experience into a practice of oneliness.

Please have arrived by now so we can begin together.

20:15 – Reflections & Sharing Circle
Gentle invitation to connect more deeply around the topic of the evening.

21:15 – Clean up together
If everyone washes their bowl, we’ll be done in no time. And anyway, the best conversations often happen in the kitchen.

Leave with a full belly, hopefully, a full heart, and maybe something new to sit with.

Can’t wait to see you!
With love,
