VYOMA Innovation Challenge - Finale & Dinner
About the Event
Join us for the finale of the VYOMA Innovation Challenge, organised by Bhashini in collaboration with Current AI and Kalpa Impact.
The event will feature live demonstrations of AI hardware showcasing linguistic diversity and promising public interest use cases in Edge AI. We have selected ten exciting finalists to compete for the top spots. Their innovations span offline crop diagnosis, livestock health, a voice-based document reader that requires zero literacy, and an AI Sahayak for ASHA workers.
Following the India AI Impact Summit in February 2026, we invited builders across India to adapt Suno Sutra, an open-source, offline, multilingual AI reference design for public-interest applications. Out of the 135 applications received, 10 finalist teams have been selected to demonstrate their functioning prototypes.
The evening will feature opening remarks by Amitabh Nag, CEO, Bhashini, a virtual address from Ayah Bdeir, CEO, Current AI, and the announcement of four winning teams by the jury: Amitabh Nag, Tarun Pandey, Scientist E, MeiTY, and Sushant Kumar, Founder & CEO, Kalpa Impact. The programme will conclude with dinner.
