For group commute options, please arrive at 7:15am at Central Station. You can take the BMT train, Platform 10 at 7:24am and get off at Springwood Station at 8:44am. We’ll meet with the rest of the group at the Station and walk to the start point together.

🥾 Hike Overview
Discover a hidden rainforest oasis in the Blue Mountains on this scenic circuit near Springwood. Following Magdala and Sassafras Creeks, the trail winds through lush forest, sandstone gullies, and past beautiful waterfalls including Magdala Falls and Martins Falls.
Expect a few creek crossings, rocky sections, and muddy patches after rain, but you'll be rewarded with peaceful rainforest scenery, abundant birdlife, and a true escape into nature.
