Overview
The Whole Child Orientation is a two-day, in person conference designed to deepen participants’ understanding of what it means to support students through the specific strategies of the Whole Child Model.
Day 1 will introduce educators to the foundations of brain development, the science of learning, and trauma-informed practices, and essential practices of adult well-being.
Day 2 will develop educators’ understanding of universal supports for all students, called CARE practices in the Whole Child Model, and our Tier 2 and 3 strategies, called Boost, for children who need extra support.
During this training, participants will engage in interactive sessions, explore evidence-based strategies for creating belonging-centered environments, see the model in action, and network with other educators committed to supporting the whole child. Attendees will learn concrete strategies to implement in their schools and classrooms, and receive practical resources to support them in bringing the model to life.

Payment & Registration
Your registration fee includes your ticket, breakfast, lunch, snacks, beverages, and all materials and supplies during the conference. Transportation, parking, and hotel accommodations are not included, nor will they be reimbursed.
For each individual participant, the cost for the complete two-day Orientation is $700. Early bird registration is available for $550 until April 25th. Registration for this event closes on Friday, July 10th.

Refund, Cancellation, and Transfer Policy
All of our conference fees are non-refundable.
You can transfer your registration to a different participant. Their name and email address must be emailed to [email protected] by 5pm Eastern time on Friday, July 24th.
If Transcend needs to cancel the orientation due to unforeseen circumstances, then we will do our best to reschedule the conference for a later date. If you are unable to attend at the rescheduled date, or if Transcend is not able to reschedule the orientation, then you will have the option to be fully refunded, or convert your registration fees to a donation to support Transcend’s ongoing work to create and spread extraordinary, equitable learning environments.
Media Release
Please note that photos and video footage will be taken during the conference.These images and recordings may be used by Transcend for promotional, educational, and informational purposes, including but not limited to social media, newsletters, websites, and future event materials.
By attending the event, you consent to being photographed and/or recorded and to the use of your likeness, voice, and image in any materials produced by or for Transcend. If you prefer not to be photographed or recorded, please notify a member of our event staff through email and upon arrival so we can do our best to accommodate your request.
