Israel on Trial: History, Evidence and Law - with Judge Roy Altman
Join us for a conversation with esteemed jurist and celebrated author, Judge Roy Altman. In his recent book, Israel on Trial: Examining the History, the Evidence, and the Law, Judge Altman dissects the most influential accusations against Israel through the rules of evidence, burden of proof, and reasoned judgement - handling allegations the way a court would treat disputed claims. Recognizing such claims to be primarily legal in nature, Judge Altman applies established legal standards to these most controversial contentions.
Judge Altman will discuss some of the key conclusions reached in his book, how he reached them, and why they matter. The conversation and ensuing audience Q&A will be moderated by the School of Civic Leadership's Professor Yonatan Green, Director of the Ackerman Program on Jewish and Western Civilization.
Complimentary signed books available.
