Ready to Raise — Weekly Coaching Cohort for Founders Actively or About to Raise Capital
Ready to Raise A six-session live coaching cohort for founders who are serious about closing their round.
Wednesdays, July 1 – August 5, 2026 · 5:00 PM PT / 8:00 PM ET · Live on Zoom · 1 Hour per Session IC Members: $247.50 · General Admission: $495 · Full Cohort, All 6 Sessions
ABOUT THE PROGRAM: Most founders know how to pitch. Very few know how to raise. The difference is not storytelling — it is process, discipline, and the tactical execution that turns investor conversations into signed commitments.
Ready to Raise is a live Zoom coaching cohort that takes founders through the complete fundraising process from first approach to closed round. Six sessions. Real tactics. Live accountability. Each week you will work through proven fundraising strategies, receive direct coaching, and leave with a concrete action plan to execute before the next session.
This program was developed by Juan Arango, who has facilitated over $430 million in capital formation working with hundreds of founders across the angel investing ecosystem. Every tactic in this program has been tested in the field across hundreds of real raises.
WHAT YOU WILL LEARN:
Session 1 — Fundraising Approach & Basics: Reframe fundraising as the professional sales process it actually is. Learn the 18-touch framework for building investor relationships, set up your outreach infrastructure — CRM, mail merge, call-text-email sequencing — and map your local angel ecosystem before making a single call.
Session 2 — Preparation: Discover what investors actually do with your deck after the meeting ends. Build a LinkedIn power strategy that gets you in front of the right people, and learn how to activate your advisor network as a door into capital — not just a credibility signal on your slide deck.
Session 3 — Preparation & Delivery: Break traction down into its five specific forms and learn how to demonstrate each one in a pitch. Master the art of having a friend among the investors before you walk in the room — and why that single relationship changes everything about how your deal gets received.
Session 4 — Delivery: Learn what it actually takes to knock their socks off in the room. Understand the real cost of free money and what taking it does to your cap table and your next round. Map a clear path from individual angels to angel groups to full syndications.
Session 5 — Follow-Up: This is where most rounds die. Learn the Viking Ship strategy for keeping a deal alive through diligence, how to read ability and willingness in an investor who has gone quiet, and how to build a data room and live FAQ that closes the critical questions before they are even asked.
Session 6 — Wrap-Up & Tool Kit: Leave with a complete fundraising toolkit: a Lean Six Sigma fundraising process, fundraising KPIs, a cost of capital framework, an investor relationship tracker, and an advisor mapping matrix. The cohort closes with a live founder hot seat — real feedback on real raises.
