Bible-plus-classics reading group, Session 6: Sacrifice and Mercy

​A discussion group where we pair Bible passages with classic texts. No beliefs required!

​Here, we'll arrive at the main event: the Crucifixion, as told by in Gospel of Mark. Also, we'll finish up with the Joseph story in Genesis. We will come back around to René Girard, add in some Shakespeare, and discuss sacrifice and scapegoats.
