The Urban and Rural Leadership Trek an educational learning trip for a group of 20+ domestic and international Harvard Kennedy School (HKS) graduate students. This year's trek will bring students through Ukiah, Eureka, Sacramento, and the San Francisco Bay Area. This trek will explore cross-cutting policy issues facing Californian communities and the important role of urban and rural leadership. The primary themes for the trip are: Public Infrastructure in the Face of Natural Disasters, Regional Leadership for Economic Development, Housing Affordability and Homelessness, and Rural/Urban policy leadership.
Come connect with fellow alumni and current students, with light activities to spark discussion on policy issues and career paths.
