About Event

Join me on the 4th Saturday of every month for a restorative yoga and sound healing experience in Honolulu designed to support stress relief, deep relaxation, nervous system restoration, and overall well-being.

Instead of a busy Saturday night, give yourself permission to slow down, breathe deeply, and unwind. Deep Rest Saturday offers a peaceful alternative to the demands of daily life—a chance to nurture your body, calm your mind, and reconnect with yourself in a supportive community setting.

This welcoming wellness event combines gentle yoga, mindful breathing, guided relaxation, restorative yoga, meditation, and therapeutic sound healing to help you release tension and experience profound rest.

During this immersive sound bath experience, you’ll relax while listening to the soothing vibrations of crystal singing bowls, chimes, and a symphonic gong. These healing sounds support deep relaxation, mindfulness, emotional balance, and nervous system regulation.

Many people who need restorative yoga aren’t necessarily searching for “restorative yoga.” They’re looking for better sleep, stress relief, relaxation, mindfulness, emotional balance, and self-care. This experience is designed to support all of those intentions while creating space for true rest and renewal.

Whether you’re completely new to yoga or have years of experience, this restorative yoga and sound bath journey welcomes all levels and all bodies.

About Machelle

Machelle discovered yoga in 2008 while searching for greater strength and flexibility to support her climbing practice. What began as a physical pursuit evolved into a powerful path of balance, healing, and self-discovery.

Inspired by the transformative impact yoga had on her life, she completed her 200-hour Yoga Teacher Training through Hawaii School of Yoga in 2018 and has been sharing the practice with others ever since.

Drawing from hatha, vinyāsa, yin, and restorative yoga traditions, Machelle creates welcoming experiences that are accessible to practitioners of all levels. Her classes weave together mindful movement, breathwork, restorative postures, meditation, and sound healing to help students release tension, reconnect with themselves, and cultivate greater ease and well-being.

Her greatest intention is that every person leaves feeling more balanced, grounded, nourished, and restored than when they arrived.💕
