Open Day for Migrant Women in Berlin
Join us for a day of conversations, shared experiences, and practical tools for migrant women in Berlin, rooted in community and being together. Expect workshops, a panel discussion, and space to connect over food and drinks, learn from each other, and ask the questions no one really answers when you first arrive.
We’ll talk about work, money, and navigating systems, but also about identity, transitions, and everything that comes with building a life somewhere new.
The plan for the day:
14:00 to 14:20: Arrival and Open Speech with Carla Maria de Souza Barbosa
14:30 to 15:30: WOMEN POWER SPACE - Movement Workshop with Rafaella Marques
15:45 to 16:45: BELONGING, MINDSET, AND MIGRANT STORIES - Panel Discussion with Mounira Latrache; Shammi Haque; Kave Bulambo, Carla Maria de Souza Barbosa and Helen Fares (moderator)
17:00 to 18:00: DECOLONIZING MONEY: Reclaiming Our Worth, Our Value, and Our Power to Create - Workshop with Pauline Gwet
17:00 to 18:10: YOUR CV, YOUR VOICE: Embracing Your Narrative in Germany - Talk + Workshop with Evelyne Leandro
