Beyond the Aer Lingus Classic: The Next Chapter in Ireland–North Carolina Trade

On behalf of the Irish American Business Alliance of North Carolina, the Consulate General of Ireland in Atlanta, and Enterprise Ireland we are pleased to invite you to join us for an evening discussion focused on the growing economic relationship between Ireland and North Carolina.

In August, Governor Josh Stein led a North Carolina delegation to Ireland during the Aer Lingus College Football Classic in Dublin.

Alongside representatives of the University of North Carolina, the Economic Development Partnership of North Carolina (EDPNC), and leaders from across business, government, and academia, the visit highlighted the strength of the Ireland-North Carolina relationship and the significant opportunities that lie ahead.

This event is intended to continue those conversations and build upon the momentum generated in Ireland. It will bring together leaders from both sides of the Atlantic to discuss trade, investment, innovation, and economic development opportunities that can further strengthen ties between Ireland and North Carolina.

The evening will open with remarks from the Irish American Business Alliance of North Carolina, Enterprise Ireland, and the Consulate General of Ireland in Atlanta, followed by reflections from members of the Ireland delegation, including representatives from Enterprise Ireland and other organizations that participated in the visit. Attendees will also have the opportunity to engage in a moderated discussion and audience Q&A focused on practical opportunities for future collaboration.

We hope you will join us for this timely discussion and networking opportunity as we explore how Ireland and North Carolina can translate recent momentum into lasting economic impact.
