About Event

Every collaboration involves challenge. How we handle it shapes everything.

At some point in any collaboration, something needs to be said. A pattern that keeps repeating. A decision that never quite lands. A dynamic everyone can feel but no one names. How we handle those moments - whether we avoid them, push through them, or navigate them with care - determines the quality of the collaborations and relationships we build together.

This session is about learning to say the thing that matters. Clearly and without blame.

In this workshop we dive into Challenging with Care. This session introduces two practical skills that will help you speak up in a way that keeps connection intact and thinking moving forward:

  • The Clean Challenge Frame. Three step framework that turn a difficult observation into an invitation to look at something together - rather than an accusation.

  • The Assumption Un-Lock. When two people disagree, the visible argument is often driven by invisible assumptions. If both people are reacting from assumptions they have never questioned, the disagreement can lock itself in place. You will practise noticing and unlocking this dynamic.

After this workshop you will:

  • Have a clearer sense of how to name what you see without explaining or blaming the other person

  • Notice when a disagreement may be fuelled by hidden assumptions, and use one or two simple questions to unlock better thinking

  • Be able to challenge a situation while staying in connection with the person in it

  • Leave with a simple framework, a toolkit and a practical task you can use straight away in real conversations

This is not confrontation training. It is not about being brave or delivering hard truths. It is about disrupting with care - and staying connected while you do it. Because the goal is not to win or to be right. It is to keep thinking together, even when something difficult needs to be said.''
