The First Shake: L&D Shakers Bangalore's Inaugural Unconference
Welcome to the very first gathering of the L&D Shakers Bangalore Hub.
This isn't a conference where you sit and listen to a lineup of speakers. It's an unconference — which means you are the agenda. When you walk in, there's no printed schedule. Instead, everyone in the room gets to pitch a topic they want to discuss, we vote on what resonates, and the sessions form live, on the spot.
A few things that make this format work:
Anyone can pitch a session — you don't need to be "the expert," just curious or opinionated about something in L&D.
The "Two Feet" rule applies — if a session isn't working for you, get up and find one that is. No hard feelings.
It's discussion, not a lecture — expect circles of chairs, not rows facing a stage.
It's a safe space — built for candid, judgment-free conversation among peers.
Whether you're a facilitator, instructional designer, L&D leader, or just someone who thinks learning experiences deserve better design — this is a room built for you to shape, not just attend.
This is the launch event for L&D Shakers' Bangalore Hub, part of a growing global community of L&D practitioners who believe the best ideas in this field come from practitioners talking to each other, not from another keynote.
