Spring Equinox Concert with Garth Stevenson
Join us in the Marin Headlands to celebrate the Spring Equinox with live music by award-winning double bassist and composer Garth Stevenson. As the sun sets over the Pacific, experience solo bass compositions blending classical technique with ambient soundscapes — music that has graced films like Bob Marley: One Love and inspired underwater exchanges with whales, documented by National Geographic.
This intimate gathering brings together nature, community, and music in a truly immersive setting. We hope you'll be part of a transformative evening honoring this changing season of renewal and new beginnings. To learn more about the artist, visit garthstevenson.com.
What to know before you arrive:
🧺 Bring a blanket to sit on (sadly no chairs are allowed as it would obstruct the view for others) and feel free to bring food and drinks (carry-in, carry-out).
🤫 Kids are welcome, but please note that everyone will need to remain quiet during the performance to preserve the immersive experience.
🥾 Wear comfortable shoes and warm layers — this is a national park with rocky terrain and a few stairs, the venue is a 5-minute walk from the parking lot.
