Annual General Meeting (AGM) - SCNZ 2026

​Startup Club NZ is holding its Annual General Meeting on Friday 23 October at 5:00pm. Venue to be confirmed, and everyone who registers will get it before the day. There will be an online link as well.

​This is the meeting where members choose who leads the club next year. Anyone who applied for a leadership role gets two minutes to speak to the seat they are standing for, and members vote straight after.

​On the agenda

​Opening of the meeting. A speech from the Co-Presidents on the year and what comes next. Confirmation of last year’s minutes. The annual report. The Treasurer’s statement. Candidate speeches. The election. Then we close.

​Who can vote

​Registered SCNZ members only, one vote each, and you have to be in the room on the night. We need at least 10 members present for the meeting to go ahead, so please come along even if you are not standing for anything.

​Applications

​Applications for every seat on next year’s exec open Saturday 10 October. Leadership applications close Friday 16 October at 11:59pm. Every other exec role stays open until Sunday 1 November.
