About Event

The times are urgent. Let us slow down. (And eat.)

“We are in the midst of a rupture, not a transition…This rupture calls for more than adaptation. It calls for honesty about the world as it is.” — Mark Carney, Jan 2026

As leaders in business and community, we are being called to lead with clarity during one of the most transformational moments in world history.

But as human beings living through confusing and unprecedented times, we may feel daunted, overwhelmed or scared as we muster the courage required today to be an effective, human leader.

What is needed is a place where we can come together among colleagues to step back and ask the big, deep questions while nourishing our minds, hearts and bellies!

(A recent event we hosted in Vancouver.)

What to Expect

This is a gathering of remarkable humans, not a networking event. Come meet some strangers and new friends, eat good food, have great conversation, and enjoy the pleasures of being surrounded by others who care as deeply and are committed to impact as courageously as you.

  • A delicious four-course sit-down meal served family style in a private room just for us.

  • Light facilitation to bring us together and move us to honesty and possibility

  • Insights from the human leadership frontiers gathered from our recent visit to the World Beautiful Business Forum in Athens, Greece.

  • A welcoming, hosted space that fosters connection, vulnerability and mutual respect.

  • A beautiful catalyst for inspiration and hope as we move into the winter

  • Not a whiff of anything sales-y from us or others.

Our max capacity is 26. We expect to sell out.

Our Theme: Beautiful Endings ……. New Beginnings

Together, we will ask questions like:

  • What do you need to let go of to become who the future is calling you to be?

  • How might your inner shift ripple into your outer impact on the world?

  • As the end of the old gives way to the birth of the new … how can you meet metamorphosis beautifully?

  • What's the map for the space ........ in between?

Your Hosts: Jordan and Julian

We are Jordan Bower and Julian Giacomelli, two deeply experienced practitioners who have been working at the frontiers of systems change for decades.

Julian co-founded Montreal-based Rise Kombucha and Crudessence, leading in the groundswell of clean and healthy food business, before exiting and becoming a transformational coach. Through Heart of Impact Leadership, he works with ambitious, mission-driven leaders and builders seeking the confidence that comes from depth and a life worth wanting. Julian has accompanied founders and leaders in over a hundred high-impact ventures, and taught entrepreneurship through MBA programs and grassroots settings.

Jordan founded Transformational Storytelling, a learning and development consultancy that worked with over two hundred organizational teams, including global enterprises like Autodesk, Rakuten and Johnson & Johnson, before the pandemic lockdowns caused him to totally reimagine his business. Today, as the co-founder of X-Stasis, Jordan supports business owners and senior leaders in strategic, culture and systems change through a facilitated process that brings together outer transformation with the inner.

We have each forged our non-linear career paths by combining “conventional” education in engineering and business with our passionate exploration in realms like global travel, yoga, meditation, the arts and competitive sports.

Last year, we connected over a 20 minute conversation and quickly realized that we wanted to become friends and collaborators.

Earlier this year, we traveled together to Athens, Greece to attend the World Beautiful Business Forum: a remarkable gathering of 1,100 likeminded colleagues who, like us, were asking deep, searching questions about the future. On our way to the Forum, we spent a week together walking in the high mountains of Ancient Sparta, where we revelled in the privilege of slowing down and being contemplative.

We both returned from the Forum feeling committed to cultivating intimate spaces where people can step back from the global polycrisis and rekindle the gentle pleasures of being human together.

Our intention for this event is to bring strangers and new friends together: to laugh, to listen, to let go, and to co-create a new vision.

Who’ll be in the room

To set the stage, we’ve booked a semi-private room upstairs at Terroni Queen. There will be two long tables, food served family style and us.

We are curating this event those people who are just as accomplished in the outer, tangible world as they are grounded in the inner, subtle one. (Like you!)

In the outer world, you are likely a business owner, organizational leader, facilitator, coach, author, thought leader or systems change practitioner—in fact, you probably fall into more than one of these categories! In the inner world, you are creative, empathetic, intuitive and maybe even spiritual; you are a curious explorer or a booty-shaker or a nature worshipper, and you seek to bring these two aspects of yourself together.

We're putting out a wide call to folks across industries: our past events have included leaders from business, tech, sustainability, non-profit, thought leaders, HR and beyond.

We can't wait to co-create this experience together!

FAQ

Are wine/alcohol/drinks included?

Each guest will cover their drink consumption individually.

What does “lightly facilitated” mean?

We will introduce some simple ways to get conversation started. We’re both expert facilitators, so don’t expect anything like cheesy icebreakers. Our intention is to weave together a beautiful and meaningful evening with a light touch.

What if I get stuck at the table next to someone boring?

There won’t be anyone boring at the table! 🤣 Just in case, our intention is to move everyone during the meal at least once—with fair warning!—so you have time and space to connect with as many colleagues as possible.

Will there be any sales pitch?

No: our intention is to cultivate a rich, safe space for us to connect as colleagues and humans together. Keep your name tags and business cards at home.

What’s the capacity?

The private room at Terroni can hold 26. We’re selling 24 tickets plus the two of us.

I’ve got a friend who would love this. Can I invite them?
