​How long has it been since you entered a museum at night? A lot, right? And the fact is that there are very few nights like the one you will be able to experience on Saturday 18 May; specifically, only one each year! It's the Night of the Museums, a unique evening in which these spaces, with usual daytime ways, let themselves go and open their doors until late. In addition, many of them organize activities that go beyond their exhibitions and collections: concerts, workshops, performances , mapping... Oh! and in 2024 the Night of the Museums coincides with the International Day of Museums, something that hasn't happened for five years, in 2019!

​Here you will find all the information you need to choose well where you want to spend the afternoon and night of May 18. You will surely see a lot of proposals that will please you, because if one thing characterizes the museums of Barcelona and the surrounding towns—Badalona, ​​Cornellà, Esplugues, l'Hospitalet, Sant Adrià, Santa Coloma, Sant Joan Despí—, a more, of course, than the value and quality of what they show, is the great diversity. There is something for all tastes and ages. And even more so on a day like this: up to 87 museum spaces will open their doors, and there will be 171 activities available.

​Don't forget to check if what you want to do requires advance booking. For most of the planned activities you won't need it, but for some you will, so that you can guarantee the smooth functioning of the event and enjoy it fully. So don't hesitate to make the reservation, since in these cases places are limited.
