Trash Puppet Fiasco
Come join us to experiment with small-scale puppet making — Shadow puppets, hand puppets, and rod puppets. We will provide a variety of recycled materials and offer a few basic examples and techniques. Feel free to bring any materials that you might otherwise discard: fabric, plastic, paper, etc., and if you have masking tape, wooden dowels, or wire coat hangers, those are very useful. You might wanna look around your life for materials that move in special ways, like a broken slinky or umbrella, a fluffy bit of tulle, or even parts of dolls or toys.
Let us revel in the chaos-potential of puppetry! Anyone can do it! Think of all the puppet friends you haven't met yet!
