THE GWY CITY CHAPTER APPLICATION
THE GWY CITY CHAPTER'S
This didn’t begin as an idea.
It began as a feeling… that quiet, hard-to-explain feeling you carry back home after being in all the “right” rooms with all the “right” people… and still wondering, why did it feel a little empty?
Not empty-empty. Just… slightly off.
Like everyone was there, but not really there.
Like conversations were happening, but something softer, something real, kept slipping through.
So The Pulse is a small rebellion against that.
A gentle one. A warm one.
It’s about creating rooms where you don’t have to arrive as your best version, or your smartest version, or your most impressive version…
just your current version. However you are. However you feel.
No pressure to “make something happen.”
No invisible scoreboard of who met whom.
No quiet performance running in the background.
Just people… sitting, talking, pausing, laughing a little too long,
maybe even sitting in silence without needing to fill it.
The Pulse is not trying to define connection.
It’s not trying to package it or promise it.
It’s just trying to make space for it.
Soft space. Real space. Unrushed space.
A room that feels easy… easy…
like you don’t need to adjust yourself to fit in.
And what happens in that room?
That part is yours.
Always yours.
high-trust circles across cities
And for that, we’re looking for one person per city
to build and run these rooms from the ground up.
Who this is for
You’re a strong fit if:
people naturally trust you and open up around you
you already have access to (or can build) high-quality networks
you understand people beyond their LinkedIn titles
you value depth over visibility
you can host a room with confidence and calm
✦ What you’ll do
curate and bring together high-intent individuals (founders, operators, corporate leaders)
design and host small, private gatherings (dinners, brunches, gaming evening , workation, jams)
create environments where people bond naturally, not network forcefully
maintain momentum in the community beyond events (introductions, follow-ups, conversations)
build a strong, trusted network, not a large one
keep the culture high-quality, discreet, and non-transactional
facilitate chemistry without making it feel structured or forced
work closely with the core team to shape and evolve The Pulse
✦ Who this is NOT for
people chasing visibility or clout
people who rely on mass invites
people who treat networking as transactions
people who need constant direction
✦ What matters most
taste > experience
We care more about:
your judgment of people
your ability to read a room
your intent
than:
past titles
number of events hosted
