Community-Centered Design
Community-Centered Design: Co-creating Solutions with Our Local African Communities
How can we create solutions that respond to the real needs and aspirations of the communities we serve?
Join Beneath the Impact for an engaging webinar with Anita Akinyi, Human-Centered Design Manager at CorpsAfrica/Kenya, as we explore how community-centered design can help us develop practical, locally relevant solutions by placing communities at the heart of the process.
The session will explore the importance of understanding local contexts, building on existing community strengths, and involving community members in shaping solutions that affect their lives. Together, we’ll reflect on how practitioners and organisations can move beyond designing solutions for communities to co-creating solutions with them.
Whether you work in social impact, community development, innovation, or programme design, this webinar offers an opportunity to rethink how we approach challenges and create meaningful, sustainable change alongside the people at the centre of it.
