Talks at Warp | No. 1
Inspired by Talks at Google - the series that brought Obama, Sam Altman, and Steven Pinker to one stage - we're starting our own tradition. A room of curious people, a topic that has nothing to do with quarterly goals, and an hour to think about something bigger.
The inaugural talk is led by Ayush Sharma, CEO of Warp.
Finding the Biggest Number: A Journey Through the Infinite
What's the biggest number you can think of? This talk starts simple - then blows past anything fathomable. Numbers so large they make the observable universe look like a rounding error. Past the limits of math notation itself. Into territory where the concept of "big" starts to dissolve.
No math background required. This is an interactive session - you'll participate, not just watch. You'll walk away with a newfound appreciation for some of the most fun ideas in mathematics, even if you've never been a math person. And if you do have a math background, Ayush will make it just rigorous enough.
Snacks and drinks provided. Mango sticky rice. Alcohol and non-alcohol options.
