About Your Hosts
Parul Bavishi has been an editor for over a decade. In addition to running LWS, she helps thriller, YA and non-fiction writers level up their craft and get published. She has worked as an editor and literary scout at Random House, Quercus & Eccles Fisher and the Story Grid. She has been a consultant for StoryMix Studio. She has run the Query With Confidence Course for 3 years at LWS.
Lindsey Trout Hughes is a writer, editor and theatre maker. Her essays have appeared in Bright Wall/Dark Room, The Rumpus, Catapult, and elsewhere. Her essay, Ghost Town Honeymoon, was chosen by Roxane Gay for the Emerging Writers Series in The Audacity. A teacher of creative nonfiction, she is an Assistant Books Editor at Barrelhouse.
