βπ Why: Join me in supporting Street Child - helping children around the world to be safe and in school.
βMillions of children around the world have their lives and education disrupted by poverty, conflict and climate-related disasters. What just happened in Nepal is only one of the many crises facing communities hit by climate change.
βWhat does Street Child do?
βStreet Child works in some of the world's most vulnerable communities to ensure children are safe, in school and learning, especially in low-resource and crisis areas.
βBy joining my fundraise, you'll support Street Child's work in:
βMaking education accessible: building schools, training teachers and enabling learning in hard-to-reach places.
βSupporting families for lasting impact: helping parents set up small businesses so they can afford to send their children to school.
βSafety & emergency support: Street Child has worked in these communities for many years. When disasters like the recent flooding in Nepal strike, they respond quickly to provide immediate support to children and families.
βHow?
βHere's what your support can do:
ββ¬30 provides learning kits for three children living in conflict areas.
ββ¬50 sends a child to school for a full year.
βMy goal is to raise β¬1,800 before October, when I'll travel with Street Child to their founding country Sierra Leone.
βThat's just β¬30 each from 60 friends in my network.
βHere's how you can donate.
βEvery contribution, large or small, makes a difference β in a world where we can't forget that not everyone has had the same chances we did growing up.
