From Setbacks to Setups Salon with AARP

​From Setbacks to Setups is an intimate, facilitated salon experience built around Amy Shoenthal's The Setback Cycle framework. Equal parts structured conversation and open exchange, each session brings together a curated group of professionals to talk honestly about pivots, disruption, and what comes next. The format is intentionally small so that every person in the room has space to speak, to be heard, and to leave with something they can actually use.

​For anyone navigating or about to navigate their "second fifty," whether that's a career reinvention, a shift in identity, or an unexpected detour, this is a space to process what's next without having it all figured out. Through light prompts and plenty of room to mingle, it brings together people in the middle of transitions who could benefit from being in a room with others working through something similar.
