About Event

Hormones and the menstrual cycle shape how women experience energy, focus, stress, recovery, and long-term health — often in ways that are misunderstood, underestimated, or oversimplified.

This event explores female physiology through a longevity lens. We look at how hormonal rhythms, the nervous system, and life-phase transitions interact — from the menstrual cycle to peri-menopause and menopause — and why these shifts matter for health over decades, not just months.

Moving beyond myths and one-size-fits-all advice, the evening is grounded in medical and physiological understanding, paired with practical insights women can apply in real life.

At the core of the evening is a discussion between two medical doctors.

Dr. Kateryna Kondratiuk, MD, PhD, MPA, brings clinical and research expertise in women’s hormonal health, with a strong focus on the links between hormones, nutrition, metabolism, and long-term female wellbeing.

Dr. Shirin Hund is a Harvard-trained internist focused on preventive medicine, bringing a clear medical perspective to women’s health, hormonal balance, healthy aging, and early signs of systemic imbalance.

Together, they will explore:

  • what medicine knows about hormones, cycles, and female longevity

We would love to receive as many questions from you as possible so we can make the session truly meaningful and relevant to your needs.

To support real integration, the evening will conclude with a calm, regulation-focused yoga session.
This practice is designed to help down-regulate the nervous system, release accumulated tension, and allow the body to integrate what has been discussed.

The yoga session is:

  • gentle and accessible

  • focused on breath, awareness, and nervous system calming

  • suitable for all levels

You will learn simple, practical techniques you can return to whenever you need to calm your system — in daily life, during stress, or around hormonal transitions.

Please bring your yoga leggings and comfortable clothes, preferably in a lighter color if possible.
