Module 2: Being the Anchor: Leveraging the Anchored, Aligned, Accountable Framework™ in support of the client(s)
This Extended Learning Module builds on Module 1* and invites coaches to leverage their earlier learnings and explore the application of the Anchored, Aligned, Accountable Framework™ to support their clients.
Invite clients into curiosity and self-interrogation.
Introduce empathy (based on Dr Brene Brown’s research on empathy and empathy misses).
Look Forward, Look Back, Look Around as a tool to support the client to assess their present state, identify their desired future state and consider what may be getting in their way to obtain their desired future state.
Learning Objectives
- Understand Channel Surfing concept and the three channels of listening; learn how to implement with clients the core listening channel: Channel Three- Listening for Connection
- Understand Curiosity as Care concept
- Differentiate safe space, brave space, and psychologically safe spaces and lean into the value of anchored, aligned, and accountable spaces for coaching. .Coach will recognize:
power as neutral
proxies for power
possible misuse of power
- Identify their empathy misses and the value of mindfulness as a core skill of empathy
Attendees are required to read Anchored, Aligned, Accountable in advance of attending the session.
