Critical Mass started as an open house to show the world what the critical technology startups at Newlab are building. It’s become a moment for our entire startup community to celebrate the hard-won progress they’ve made towards commercialization.

​This October, Critical Mass comes to New Orleans for the first time featuring Applied Atomics, Carbon Ridge, Crew Carbon, Mantel, Everstar and Pyran (and more).

​We'll be opening the doors to our beta space, where some of our founding New Orleans resident members will share the technologies they've started building, testing, and deploying in Louisiana and across the world.
