Join WiSE UofT and WiSE Guelph for an afternoon of connection, mentorship, and conversation celebrating women in STEM!
This event brings together students from the University of Toronto and University of Guelph for a Women in STEM professor panel, small-group roundtables, networking, and a fun Engineering vs. Science Jeopardy competition.
What to Expect
🧊 Introduction, Icebreakers, and refreshments | 2:30-3:00 PM
Grab your WiSE passport and make your way around the room to connect with students from both UofT and UofG! Discover shared interests and experiences, and exchange LinkedIn information as you build new connections.
🎤 Women in STEM Professor Panel | 3:00–4:00 PM
Hear from professors across engineering and science as they share their experiences navigating STEM, building their careers, supporting women in their fields, and creating inclusive environments for the next generation of STEM students.

The panel will be followed by a Q&A where attendees can ask questions about research, career development, mentorship, academia, and experiences as women in STEM.
🤝 Roundtables & Networking | 4:00–4:30 PM
Connect with other students and continue the conversation in smaller groups. Attendees will have the opportunity to speak with professors from both engineering and science and ask more personalized questions about research, careers, and their experiences in STEM.
🧩 Engineering vs. Science Jeopardy | 4:30–5:30 PM
Put your STEM knowledge to the test in a friendly Engineering vs. Science Jeopardy competition covering topics such as science, mathematics, engineering, movies, and more!

This event is open to students interested in STEM, research, mentorship, career development, and connecting with other women and allies in STEM.
Whether you're exploring your academic path, looking for research opportunities, considering graduate school, or simply hoping to meet other STEM students, we'd love to have you join us!
