​Welcome to the Golden Bear family!

​Before you head up to Berkeley, let’s bring a piece of the East Bay to the 916. The Cal Alumni Association of Sacramento invites all incoming freshmen, transfer students, and their families to the official Summer Welcome Party.

​This is your chance to meet your future classmates, chat with local alumni about life on campus, and get all your questions answered.

​What’s on the Agenda?

• ​Meet & Greet: Connect with other New Bears from the Sacramento area.

• ​Alumni Connections: Pro-tips on housing, the best study spots in Doe Library, and where to find the best late-night slices.

• ​Swag & Spirit: We’ll have some Cal giveaways to help you start your collection.

• ​Food & Drinks: Light refreshments and snacks will be provided.

​Note to Students & Parents

​This event is free for incoming students and their families, but please RSVP so we can get an accurate headcount for food and supplies.

​Pro Tip: Use this time to coordinate potential carpools or find future study buddies before move-in day!
