Honor the Snake / Honor the Shed
🐍 Honor the Snake / Honor the Shed 🐎
A Threshold Ritual Gathering
Before we rush into Fire Horse year momentum, we pause.
We are still in the final days of Yin Wood Snake—
a time for shedding, mourning, digestion, and discernment.
The Snake is not done with us yet.
This in-person ritual gathering marks the crossing from Yin Wood Snake → Yang Fire Horse on the eve of Li Chun, the beginning of the Chinese solar year.
Together, we will:
Honor and close the lessons of the Snake year
Witness the final shed—the last snake tail ready to come off with a community ritual/firepit burn
Speak our intentions moving into Horse year from a place of inner authority and alignment
We make space first, so we don’t burn out in a double Fire Horse year. We honor the medicine of the Snake fully so we can call in Horse clearly. So that we don’t operate from silos, still seduced by our shadows. So that we can meet Horse as a mobilized herd, moving together— toward freedom, toward the blazing Sun.
🌱 Li Chun (Beginning of Spring) marks the astrological new year. Yang Fire Horse arrives February 4. Lunar New Year follows on February 17.
