Elevating Eye Health in Global NCD Policy: Advancing Public Health Approaches to Prevent Vision Loss
Join the Milken Institute and Boehringer Ingelheim for the official launch of their collaborative report, Public Health Pathways for Vision Loss Prevention. This event will spotlight the future of vision loss prevention through a global public health lens, highlighting key opportunities for advocacy, innovation, and cross-sector collaboration.
We’re excited to welcome you to the launch of the Public Health Pathways for Vision Loss Prevention report, a collaboration between Boehringer Ingelheim and the Milken Institute.
As global attention intensifies around non-communicable diseases, vision loss remains an underexplored and underpriorized issue by national health systems. This report provides much needed insight into the gaps in country-level approaches to prevention and early detection, identifying pathways to improving eye care globally.
Bringing together a panel of experts from across the global eye health space, positioned ahead of the High-Level Meeting on NCDs, this event will underscore the critical relevance of eye health within the broader discourse on NCDs and disability globally.
Please join us on 22 September at The Yale Club in New York for a discussion that aims to catalyze cross-sector collaboration to advance early diagnosis, treatment and care.
