IoT Workshop: Hands On Electronics Dev
You’ve watched Iron Man not once, not twice, but a dozen times — and dreamed of building your own circuits. This might be your space.
Join a hands‑on microcontroller workshop where we’ll build an electronic LED circuit you can control remotely (and, time permitting, connect to an MCP server).
We’ll use ESP8266 + OLED on a breadboard to assemble the circuit from scratch. Ideal for beginners and intermediate makers alike — bring your laptop; I’ll supply all components, modules, and tools.
What You’ll Get
A guided project: wire up components and display data on the OLED
Hands‑on experience with ESP8266 (WiFi, I/O)
Collaborative group work: participants will be organized into 4 teams, each team working together to build their circuit
Q&A, learning resources, and next steps
Networking with fellow makers
Requirements
Bring your own laptop with hub if you're on mac we're gonna use USB
Basic programming familiarity (helpful but not required)
Curiosity and eagerness to tinker
Seats are limited to 8.
Are you paying attention?
