Bio-spark Networking Open Evening
Join us for the Bio-spark Networking Open Day, uniting members of this cohort, with those interested in learning more about what we do!
Join us to learn more about the Bio-spark programme from the organisers and alumni. Designed by Prof Tony Kouzarides to help researchers (including but not limited to PhDs and Post-Docs) explore the entrepreneurial and industry eco-systems and opportunities in the Cambridge Cluster and beyond!
With three pathways:
Exploring fellows, who gain access to a range of networking sessions, group mentorship events and company visits, joining forces with the full fellowship cohort to meet mentors in biotech, pharma and venture capital, hear presentations from our company partners giving insight into leading pharma, biotech and investment companies, attend events with biotech companies looking to hire academic talent, hear about the next generation of companies at pitch events and visit pharma and investment firms
Challenge-solving fellows, who spend 2-3 hours a week working on a challenge, set by industry partners, with previous projects being partnered with AZ, GSK, JNJ, Altos Labs, Cambridge Innovation Capital, Syncona, LifeArc and Cambridge Enterprise.
Company seeding fellows, supporting individuals or groups with ideas for company with business thesis curation, mentorship and pitching opportunities. This year, the fellowship is partnered with Cancer Research Horizons, who are offering a £50K grant to an oncology team.
You can register your interest for the programme here to be kept in the loop: Open Google Form and join us on the evening of the 28th May to learn more!
