whistlepacking + creating third spaces: a community design workshop
Join neighbors for an afternoon of whistlepacking to support rapid response/migra watch in our communities, followed by a community design workshop led by navi, of naazuk studio, focused on the importance of third spaces for young people and communities of color in Chicago. Through short guided activities and discussion, we will collectively identify what our communities need and use participatory community design as a tool to explore how to make our visions a reality! Whistlepacking from 1pm - 2:15pm
Creating third spaces design workshop from 2:30pm - 3:45pm
Capacity is limited to 30 people, so please let us know if you plan to join for just whistlepacking, just workshop, or both!
Light snacks and refreshments from local street vendors impacted by ICE activity in Chicago will be provided. We'll provide links to donate to them directly too!
