UHC DAY 2025 High-Level Convening
Nigeria continues to push toward Universal Health Coverage (UHC), but rising healthcare costs, reliance on out-of-pocket spending, and pressure from declining donor funding continue to affect progress. As the nation undergoes significant macroeconomic reforms, the need for stronger domestic health financing and improved quality of care has never been more urgent.
The Nigeria UHC Forum in collaboration with PharmAccess Foundation specially invites you to the 2025 UHC Day High-Level Convening. This gathering will bring together national and sub-national leaders, policymakers, health financing experts, development partners, implementing organisations, and civil society to drive renewed commitments toward equitable, high-quality and financially accessible healthcare for all Nigerians.
This year’s theme, “Unaffordable Health Costs? We’re Sick of It!”, reflects the urgent need for renewed national dialogue on reducing financial hardship in accessing care, strengthening domestic health financing, and ensuring that coverage is matched by improved quality of services.
