The Envoy Sessions #2 - Sleep Matters
The Envoy Sessions #2 : Fireside Chat with Dr. Pojnicha Mekaroonkamol
Sleep Matters - Why the Way We Rest Shapes How We Lead
Join us for a candid conversation about the one performance factor most leaders quietly neglect: sleep. In this Fireside Chat, we explore how quality rest (and not just quantity) drives health, focus, and long-term well-being in an always-connected world.
We sit down with Dr. Pojnicha Mekaroonkamol to separate the science from the noise. Why has our understanding of sleep changed so dramatically in the last decade? What is "sleep anxiety," and why is it suddenly everywhere? Do wearables and sleep-tracking apps actually help, and where do they fall short? And in big cities like Bangkok, London, Toronto and New York with its large international communities, what sleep challenges follow relocation, frequent travel, and life lived across time zones?
Dr. Pojnicha is an American Board–certified Internist and Sleep Specialist at Bangkok International Hospital. She earned her Doctor of Medicine from Chulalongkorn University and holds American Board of Internal Medicine certifications in both Internal Medicine and Sleep Medicine, alongside Thai Medical Council board certifications in each. Practicing across Bangkok Hospital's Sleep Center and Integrated Care Services, she brings a clinician's grounded, evidence-first perspective to a subject too often left to guesswork.
The conversation will be moderated by Mike Miguel, Managing Partner at The Envoy Global.
