Unhurried: conversation + community
Join us for a morning of intentional conversation and connection.
Who: Women of any age.
Why: So much of the world pushes us towards individualism, towards not knowing each other -- and towards showing up as only the part of ourselves that best fits a given room. You're invited to help create something different.
What: Space to have meaningful conversation about things that matter to you, in ways that are authentic to you -- whether you're effusive, reserved, or somewhere in between. An opportunity to connect with others who are done separating parts of who they are depending on where they are. If massive brewery meetups and agenda-less networking events aren't cutting it, this is for you.
What to expect: Tea and pastries with a few quiet minutes to settle in, then small-group conversation about a short article or podcast (shared beforehand) and about our actual lives, with a few prompts. Expect laughter and depth in the same conversation. This is the first gathering, so we'll adapt and experiment as we go.
No need to have anything figured out.
Share as much or as little as you want.
Listening over advice.
Didn't get to the piece? Still come; the conversation doesn't depend on it.
