🪩 Party Like It's 1999 🪩 Human Week Closing Celebration ✨
We spent all week asking what it means to be human first. Now we're closing it out like it's 1999: back before smartphones, when plans were plans, nobody was half-looking at a screen, and the only way to know what happened was to be there. Let's keep the conversation going, then celebrate being human together, out loud and on the dance floor.
What to expect
6–7pm | Phone-free connection hour
We'll collect your phone at the door (you'll get it back, promise). Then settle in for facilitated conversations and a couple of surprises.
7pm–late | Dance like it's 1999
Phones come back, the music turns up, and we keep the party going at Spy Bar. Stay as long as you want.
The vibe
Anti-networking. Playful, warm, a little bit nostalgic. No pitches, no scanning the room for someone more useful to talk to. Wear something you feel great in. Glitter is welcome and deeply appreciated.
Good to know
Coming solo? Perfect. This was designed with you in mind, and you won't be left hovering by the wall.
Please arrive right at 6 so we can include you from the start.
It's buy-your-own, so bring a card for the bar.
Yes, it's Friday the 13th. The only thing getting cursed tonight is small talk.
This event is part of Boston Human Week 🌟
Human Week (Nov 9–13) is a week of conversations across Boston about how we build a future that puts people first: AI, education, work, care, cities, and everything in between. Hosted by all kinds of humans, in all kinds of rooms.
