The first of a small series of events focused on bringing together AI experts, policymakers, industry, and professional forecasters to discuss future scenarios of AI development.

The session will explore the different potential challenges and risks of AI within a specific sector or area of interest. The discussion will be structured to produce a set of clear scenarios and 'what-if' style questions, which will then be forecasted by the group.

All contributions to the discussion will be anonymous and no views or comments will be attributed to an individual or their organisation (who they may or may not be there on behalf of). We will use the results (scenarios and forecasts) to create relevant content (e.g. a blog, inform a video around the issue etc.).

This first session will be on the intersection between AI and biosecurity.

Venue will be central London - likely around the Bank/Moorgate area.
