EA Delft Debating Evening

​On Wednesday, we want to wrap up the year together with a small EA debating evening in the library. It is nothing formal, just a fun way to explore questions together.

​We’ll start by choosing a few controversial / tricky topics related to Effective Altruism. For each topic, we’ll roughly sketch a pro and con side, and then:

• ​form groups to take each side

• ​give everyone a bit of time to think up arguments

• ​have a few short debate rounds, and afterwards share opinions/ further information

​You don’t need any debating experience, it is mainly about thinking together.

​We'll bring some snacks, sit together, and just talk as a group about anything else that’s on your mind as we head into the holidays.
