About Event

Accion Andina: how indigenous communities are reviving their ancestral traditions to bringing back their forests and water in the Andes.

In 4.5 years, Accion Andina has grown into one of the largest community led restoration movements in South America, to date actively engaging over 25,000 people to protect and restore the marvelous native forests of the high Andes. This social will focus on the key elements (i.e. the restoration scaling principles) that made this journey possible and engage in a discussion about how this approach could help move restoration efforts forward in many areas of the world.
