Toronto Café Walk x SDC [Lunch Edition]

​Most of us have sat through the networking event where everyone is scanning name tags for the next useful person. This is the opposite of that.

​For this edition, Toronto Café Walk and Startup Dinner Club are co-hosting a slower, more human way to meet people. We'll start with a relaxed lunch then walk together to a nearby hidden gem café to keep the conversation going.

​No “so, what do you do?” on repeat. This will be a small, thoughtfully curated group with the kind of genuine conversations that happen when nobody is trying to sell anything.

​Here's how the afternoon goes 🌞

​Lunch 🍽️
We gather at the meetup spot first and head over to the restaurant together for lunch. Sit down, settle in, and get to know the people around you. Everyone pays for their own food and drinks, which is how we keep the event itself free.

​The Walk 🚶
After lunch, we stroll together to a local café nearby. It’s a short, easy walk and a chance to chat one-on-one with someone new.

​Café Mix & Mingle ☕
Grab a drink, find a seat, and keep the conversation going in a looser, more relaxed setting. This is where lunch acquaintances turn into real connections.

​This event is intentionally designed for...

​Founders, investors, solopreneurs, creatives, and small business owners who care about building real relationships first.

​If business comes up, great. It just happens organically as it does between people who actually vibe with each other.

​You don’t need to be a “networker”! You just need to be curious, open, and happy to show up as your real self.

​How the guest list works!

​This event is free but we review every registration to keep the group small, warm, and aligned.

​When you register, you’ll share your LinkedIn profile and the topics you’d love to talk about with the group. We’ll review your request and let you know if you've secured your spot.

​Please only register if you can make it 📌

​Spots are limited and we give the restaurant a final headcount. If your plans change, please let us know at least 5 business days before the event so we can update the numbers and offer your spot to someone else.
