About the NASA Space Apps Challenge
The world's largest hackathon brings together innovators, scientists, and creatives from over 185 countries to solve real challenges faced by humanity and space. Using tools and data from NASA and 15 other space agencies, participants develop solutions in areas such as sustainability, health, connectivity, and space exploration.
In October, we organized a pocket edition of the hackathon in partnership with Founder Haus and JUPTER in Jurerê Internacional. The event gathered 34 participants across 6 teams, supported by partners like Grupo Habitasul, the Latin American Satellite Congress, and the U.S. Embassy. It was part of the Space Week Brazil, connecting the local ecosystem to global initiatives in the space sector.
