Breakfast May 12: Hogar Dulce Hogar
This month we will be joined by Isabel (“Izzy”), volunteer teacher and caregiver at Fundación Hogar Dulce Hogar, a Mexico City home that provides safety, education, and daily support for 31 children between the ages of 2 and 12 who are living in vulnerable circumstances.
Izzy will share firsthand what life inside the home looks like, how the organization supports children through education and community, and what their most important needs are right now. She will also introduce the initiatives currently underway to fund the upcoming school year and strengthen long term support for the caregivers who make this work possible.
As part of our Project Worldwide efforts, the Texas Exes Mexico City Chapter is helping connect our community with opportunities to contribute through participation, visibility, and direct support.
This breakfast is a great opportunity to learn how a local organization is transforming lives and how we as Longhorns can be part of that impact.
