🎄 Comedy Improv - Holiday Edition

​In the spirit of the NS tenets LEARN & FUN, come join us for a holiday bout of of laughter, play, and creative expression this Wednesday at 4PM in the NS Library.

​Agenda:

• ​Intros (take the spotlight with confidence)

• ​Warmups and group games (connect the mind and body)

• ​Skills development and scene work (get over your self)

​​​​Some of the principles we’ll explore include:

• ​​​​🧠 "Yes, And…" – Accept what’s offered and build on it.

• ​​​​🎭 Trust your gut – Say the first thing that comes to mind.

• ​​​​🔍 Deep Listening – Tune in and be fully present.

• ​​​​🎯 Fully Commit – Boldness beats perfection.

• ​​​​🧰 Celebrate Mistakes – Because the best moments are often the weird ones.

​This event is for participants, not spectators: f you show, you play! It's a chance to get out of your comfort zone and celebrate human connection, creativity, and being in the present moment.

​Beginner-friendly, no experience needed. Just bring your curiosity and a willingness to try something new. We'll laugh a bit, learn a bit, and create some magic together!
