How Founders Build for Growth Beyond the Usual Postcodes
Investors are looking for growth, but many are still looking in the same places. Beyond the usual hubs, founders are building category-defining businesses before the market fully catches up. They have to prove demand earlier and make capital work harder, and their traction is the evidence: these markets are bigger and more urgent than investors assumed. That’s the overlooked advantage.
Join Endeavor, the University of Oxford’s Saïd Business School and Prosus for an evening of cocktails and conversation with founders, investors, and operators. Hear first-hand how founders who built and scaled in markets venture capital overlooks are building toward $100M, and the growth strategies they’re deploying to get there.
Join us to:
Learn how to prove demand before investors understand your market. See how these founders won customers and built trust without the visibility of a major hub.
See the growth strategies these founders are deploying right now. From expanding into new markets to using AI to rethink how their companies operate.
Understand what kind of capital your company needs. Hear when to grow on revenue, when to raise, what capital markets ultimately reward, and how these founders unlocked capital when funding for women founders is scarce at every stage.
Meet the speakers:
Danila De Stefano, Founder and CEO, Unobravo (Endeavor Entrepreneur and Board Member, Endeavor Italy). An Endeavor Entrepreneur and Board Member of Endeavor Italy, Danila built Unobravo with early backing from CDP Venture Capital, raised a €17M round to scale, and brought in Northzone as the company grew to support more than 160,000 patients.
Folayemi Agusto, Founder, Tix Africa. Folayemi is building event-tech infrastructure for Nigeria’s live events industry. She’s part of Endeavor Nigeria’s scale-up program, and placed second in the 2025 Naspers and Prosus Tech FoundHER Africa Challenge, winning equity-free grant funding.
Jingyi Wang, Strategy Director, Portfolio Management, Prosus Ventures. Jingyi works with Prosus Ventures’ portfolio companies after the check is written, so she sees both sides of today’s market: companies that can raise, and companies going further with lean teams.
Oana Jinga, Co-Founder and Chief Commercial and Product Officer, Dexory (Endeavor Entrepreneur). An Endeavor Entrepreneur, Oana helped take Dexory from early-stage robotics to a $100M Series C led by Eurazeo Growth, alongside Endeavor Catalyst and existing investors including Atomico and Lakestar.
Moderated by Neil Shah, Director, Primary Markets, LSEG. Neil leads coverage of the technology sector for the London Stock Exchange and works with founders as they raise capital and build their profile. He brings the view on London as a launchpad for international founders, and on what capital markets ultimately reward.
