WikiGameJam NYC 2025

​WikiGameJam is a creative hackathon for developers, designers, and Wikipedia enthusiasts to come together to make playful games inspired and powered by the world’s largest free encyclopedia, Wikipedia, and its sister projects.

Whether you want to build a browser game based on Wikipedia’s live edit feed, a trivia app powered by Wikidata, or something wild we haven’t imagined yet — this is your chance! Come alone or with a team, and spend the weekend turning knowledge into play.

​Space is limited for this first time, but don't despair! If demand is high we will host another one, either in NYC or beyond!
